City manager Jane Richards said the budget has been boiled down to about $435,000.
"My [budget] is actually going to be a little lower," Richards said. "Mine was $124,000, now it's going to be [$121,000] because we needed the money in public works. The public works budget expanded to $158,000 because we built a few things and made some building improvements," Richards said.
These include constructing a new maintenance building beside the original structure as well as general repairs.
The Barry Drive sewer project is now complete at a cost of a little more than $156,000. Richards said the city hopes to get back about half of the $156,000 in the form of a grant, which will be used toward a future project.
