Pee Wee was born on Aug. 1, 1979, in Bartow County, the son of William Robert Wilkins Jr. and Judy Ann Copeland. He had been a resident of Bartow County all his life, attended Cass High School, and attended Gilmer Street Baptist Church.
Pee Wee is survived by his father, William Robert Wilkins Jr. of Cartersville; a sister, Amy Rivera Pagan of Calhoun; a brother, Jason Todd Wilkins of Sonoraville; and mother, Judy Ann Doris of Cartersville.
Funeral services for William Robert "Pee Wee" Wilkins III will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. in the Zion Hill Baptist Church, 1105 Mission Road SW, Cartersville, with Rev. Ralph Shook and Rev. Billy Murdock officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends this afternoon in the Zion Hill Baptist Church from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour.
