He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He retired from FMC Link Belt in 1990 with over 35 years of service and was a member of the Steelworkers Union. Visitation will be on Friday, July 23, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Stuart Mortuary Chapel with services at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth A. Loyal; daughters, Janice E. Loyal, Joyce A. Loyal and Judy L. Loyal (Lorenzo) Campbell; sons, Willie R. Loyal Jr. (Janice), Richard A. Loyal (Ethel) and Ross E. Loyal (Angela); brother, Chancy Ford Loyal (Zadie); sister, Mary Rogers; special nephew, Henry Loyal; seven grandchildren, Allen Loyal, Yolanda Lewis (AD), Shannon Loyal, Ashley Berry, Nicole Taylor, Jason McGraw and Ross Loyal II; six great- grandchildren, Alexis, Alicia, Kennedy, Alan, Jason Jr. and Kamryn.
Final arrangements have been entrusted to Stuart Mortuary Inc.
