He was born June 20, 1936, in Owensboro, Ky., a son of the late Dave Will Kessinger and Beulah Mae Cox Kessinger.
Survivors include four children, Alan Kessinger of Woodstock, Deanna Ammons of Acworth, Kevin Kessinger of Woodstock and Kimberly Mouas of Acworth; two sisters, Betsy Carlin and Carolyn Spangler, both of Owensboro, Ky.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The body was cremated. There are no services planned at this date.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, is in charge of the arrangements.
