Woman threatens to kill her son

A Bartow County deputy responded was called to 4572 Roberts Drive on Thursday afternoon in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival into the subdivision the deputy met with a woman who said she and her boyfriend had gotten into an argument about her taking their son. The deputy had her follow him back to the residence where he spoke with the complainant.

He stated that he and the woman, identified as Brittney Greene, called him at work and said she was going to kill the child if he did not come back home and make him stop crying. The complainant said his mother witnessed this. One deputy went inside to speak with the mother, while another spoke with Greene. The deputy states before he could tell Greene what was said by her boyfriend she made the comment that she never threaten to harm her child. Greene was placed under arrest and transported to the Bartow County jail, charged terroristic threats and acts under the Family Violence Act.

Vehicles damaged

at local business

A Cartersville police officer was dispatched to R&M Automart located at 350 N. Erwin St. on Thursday in reference to a report of entering autos. Upon arrival he met with the complainant who stated that between Wednesday and Thursday unknown persons entered three vehicles on the premises causing damage. He stated that the estimated total damages to all vehicles was about $1,600, a 1987 Ford Ranger, 1999 Ford Taurus and 1994 Ford F150 were all damaged. The complainant said he didn't know of any suspects at this time.
