Woodland's Diana Wimpy has been named as a member of the Georgia Dugout Club's All State team.

Colman Roberts, head coach of the Woodland High team, said Wimpy will play in the all-state game, which will be played Nov. 13 at Mercer University's Sikes Field.

"We are very proud of her and this is a huge accomplishment," Roberts stated.

Softball players from around the state will be included on four teams at the showcase event, with each squad playing in a total of three games.
