This City of Cartersville Public Works project is being done to relieve flash flood problems that have plagued the area for years. A pipe will be placed under West Avenue and an open ditch will feed into and out of the pipe to drain flood waters. This area, between South Tennessee and South Erwin streets, will be closed from time to time until the project is complete.
