Multiple units from the Bartow County Fire Department responded to the scene of a barn fire at 791 Sugar Valley Road Monday just after 2:30 p.m. Neighbors on the scene reported hearing and feeling an explosion then seeing flames above the treetops. Precaution was taken with the structure as the barn contained explosive and hazardous materials. As of press time there was no further information available.
