Adairsville notches win No. 29 in v-ball
Adairsville came from behind to defeat Coosa, 2-1, and beat Model, 2-0, in girls high school volleyball play Tuesday. “We got a very hard-fought victory against Coosa,” Adairsville head coach David Adams said. Adairsville fell 17-25 in its first set but then came back to even the score with a 25-17 victory. The Lady Tigers also won the rubber match, taking a 25-20 win in set three. It defeated Model, 27-25, and 25-21. “These were nonconference games but we really wanted the Coosa win,” Adams said. “They beat us earlier in the year, and we felt we could play better than we did the first time...
