Adairsville opens area play with 2 victories
Adairsville opened its Area 6-AAA play by defeating Coahulla Creek and Calhoun at home in high school volleyball Tuesday. The Lady Tigers got past Coahulla Creek, 2-1, and blanked Calhoun, 2-0. Head coach David Adams said both contests featured a lot of hard hitting and exciting play. “The fans were definitely getting their money’s worth, which was bad for my heart,” Adams said.
