Softball Roundup: Woodland takes pair at tourney; Lady Colonels swept in 3 games
Woodland picked up two wins against one loss in the Lowndes Invitational on Saturday. The Lady Wildcats defeated Bacon County, 4-3, and Tift County, 3-1, while falling to Crisp County, 7-3. Woodland 4, Bacon County 3 Jamison Kilgo singled in Bailey Roberts in the bottom of the seventh inning to help Woodland defeat Bacon County, 4-3. The two girls high school softball teams had been tied at 3-all since the fourth, when Bacon County caught Woodland on the scoreboard with a three-run performance.
