After the top three teams in the Region 7-AAAAA baseball standings, there's not much to separate the middle of the pack. Everybody seems to be pretty even, and, at least at this point, series splits have been the norm.
LaGrange was one of the baseball teams that beat Cartersville High last year and finished ahead of the Canes in the region standings, ultimately resulting in Cartersville finishing the region season as the fourth seed and falling short of the program’s expectations with an early playoff exit.
