Steve J. Jezerinac, 68, of  Acworth, Ga., died peacefully on April 21, 2018, surrounded by family following a brief battle with cancer. Steve was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 12, 1950, and graduated from Euclid High School in 1968. He and his wife of 44 years, Linda, married and moved to the Atlanta, Ga., area and raised their family in Cobb county. His passion was undoubtedly his wife, family and especially his four grandchildren and friends. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Schill); daughter, Jeannette; son, Peter and daughter-in-law, Erin (Wall); grandchildren, August, Michael, Peter Jr., and Evelyn; brother, Ron; niece, Tiffany Sexton (Jezerinac); nephew, Ron Jr.; and many in-laws, aunts, uncles and treasured friends. He was preceded in death by his parents,  Peter and Jeannette Jezerinac and sister-in-law, Lynn Jezerinac. Steve was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandpa, father-in-law, brother, uncle, son, coach and generous friend. He was loved by so many and his passion and devotion to his family and friends and his larger-than-life personality and creativity will forever be missed. A Mass will be offered on May 5th at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 12:30 pm (850 Douthit Ferry Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120, (770) 382-4549).
