A couple of big innings and a strong pitching performance by Sam Seaman helped the Adairsville baseball team to a 12-2 region win Tuesday at Adairsville High.
Adairsville got out to a big lead with a five-run second inning and a two-run third inning
Murray County would score one run in the fourth and another in the sixth, but the Tigers would go on to run-rule Murray with a run in the fifth and four more in the bottom of the sixth.

Adairsville capitalized on four Murray County errors to score seven unearned runs. The Tigers also tallied 10 hits in the game by eight different batters.
Adairsville is now 9-6 on the year and 5-2 in region play. The Tigers return to the diamond today at Calhoun.
