Bartow County EMS stayed busy Friday with two accidents between 9:30 a.m. and noon.
The first accident involved a motorcycle driving on Wilderness Camp Road, just off Highway 20.
BCEMS arrived to find one male with numerous injuries, and the patient was transported to Cartersville Medical Center for treatment.
The second accident occurred at noon on Sugar Valley Road near Road No. 1 South.
BCEMS responded to find a car turned over on its side, off the roadway and against a tree.
Bystanders stated the lone patient in the one-vehicle wreck was ejected.
The BCEMS crew found the patient approximatley 10 feet away from the vehicle with an “altered mental status and numerous cuts and lacerations,” according to BCEMS Public Information Officer Brad Cothran.
The patient was transported to Floyd Medical Center.
