Mr. Scott Randall Campbell, age 59, of Acworth, GA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Mr. Charles Ray Campbell and Mrs. Hildred Williams Rocheleau.
Scott spent a lot of time in his building working on and restoring old trucks. He enjoyed going to car shows with his 1965 Ford F-100. He kept a huge collection of toys for his granddaughters; he was constantly adding toys to his collection for his granddaughters to have beyond his years so that they could remember him for years to come. He spent 20 years working for Sundial Plumbing and was one of the best backhoe operators known throughout this area.
Scott is survived by his loving wife of over 36 years, Mrs. Valeen Campbell; his father, Mr. Charles Ray Campbell; his mother, Mrs. Hildred Williams Rocheleau; his three sons, Brandon (Marissa), Dustin (Kayla), and Nathan Campbell; his four granddaughters, Breanna, Brynlee and Brystol, and Emma Campbell; his brothers, Johnny and Thomas (Karen) Campbell; his sisters, Susan (Barry) Holder and Kellie (Jake) Walsh; his loving in-laws, Donnie and Mary Lou Hyatt.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Sunday, February 10th, 2019, at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home, with Pastor Chuck Smith officiating. Serving as pallbearers are his three sons, Brandon, Dustin, and Nathan, as well as his brother, Johnny, his brother-in-law Donnie, and Mark McLemore. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Donnie Hyatt Sr. (Pa).
The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home on Saturday, February 9th, 2019, from four o'clock in the afternoon until eight o'clock in the evening.
