William Henry Lee

Mr. William Henry Lee “Dynamite,” age 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on May 7, 2018.

William Lee lived his life on the simple premises set for him and his sister, Glenda Merriell Lee, by their parents, Clifford Merriell and Christine Mallory Lee. These values were based on faith, family, and hard work. William lived his life on his own terms.

Education was paramount for him as he graduated from Riverside Military Academy, University of Georgia, and John Marshall Law School. His professional life as an entrepreneur and developer earned the respect of many because of the example he set for future generations who will follow his lead.

His crowning achievement was as a father to Mallory Pike Lee and John William Lee and as a husband to his wife, Cindy White Lee. The circumference of his family circle was wide and was the most important and cherished asset he had attained. William was a son, brother, father, and a friend. His circle of friends dates as far back as his childhood in Columbus, Georgia. He maintained these relationships and cherished his time with those who appreciated and knew him well.

William fought a hard battle with a formidable foe at the end of his life. He never backed down and earned the love and appreciation that everyone who knew him will hold onto for the remaining days of their lives.

All superheroes don’t wear capes.

He leaves behind his wife, Cynthia White Lee of Adairsville; daughter, Mallory Pike Lee and her fiancé, John Kiser of Atlanta; son, John William Lee of Blue Ridge; stepsons, Alex Ray of Calhoun and Blake Ray of Adairsville; grandson, Rigden Ray; mother-in-law, Mildred White; brothers-in-law, David (Joelene) White, John (Wanda) White, and Robbie (Rhonda) his dearest and closest friends, the River Rat Brothers in Blue and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park, Marietta. William’s family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Barton Funeral Home.
