He is survived by his parents, Mark and Geraldine H. Bowlen, Rita Faye and James Abernathy; children, Jonathan Bowlen, Hunter Diddle, Jennifer Bowlen, all of Cartersville, Brian Bowlen of Tucker; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marsha and Erick Ingram, Jamie Abernathy of Cartersville, Amanda Holt of Talking Rock, Mary and Randy Nelson of Fairmount; grandmother, Mae Gravley of Cartersville; special cousin, Amanda Brown of Cartersville; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Joseph Adam Bowlen will be held Saturday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. from the Fairmount Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday.
