Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m. from Darby Huey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chris Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery at 1 p.m.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 7, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Survivors include husband, Edward Whisler, Acworth, Ga.; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Ruby Whisler, Acworth, Ga., Alan Whisler and Raquel Alaniz, Woodstock, Ga., Donnie and Melissa Whisler, Cartersville, Ga.; brother, Perry Hufstetler, Mt. Clemens, Mich.; sister, Annette Harris, Cartersville; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family ask that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
