Mrs. Williams was born Oct. 16, 1925, in Paulding County, the daughter o f the late Harvey Sanford Sr. and Nora Earwood Sanford and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Powder Springs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe L. Williams Jr.; a son, Larry Thomas Williams; a sister, Irene Blanchard; brothers, Charles, Robert Earl, John (J.P.) and Homer Sanford.
Surviving are her children, Joe Harvey( J.H.) Williams Jr., Nora and her husband Larry Hendrix, David Lee Williams, all of White; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Harvey and his wife Ruby Sanford of Hiawassee; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 15, at noon in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Jacobs and Rev. Brian Davis officiating.
Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens in Powder Springs.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.
