Mr. Scroggs was born July 19, 1956, in Cobb County, the son of the late, Charles Edward and Ruth Annell Smith Scroggs and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his sons, Bryan Justin Scroggs of Marietta, PFC. Brandon Lee Scroggs of Carson, Colo., and his sister, Donna Moritz of Marietta.
A family memorial service will be held at a later time.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
