Mr. Perone was born Dec. 22, 1953, in Akron, Ohio. He was of the Christian faith, was a Truck Driver/Mechanic and was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Jane Gaunce.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Holloway Perone; his children, Joseph Perone, David Perone, Jessica Perone, Anna Perone, Anthony Paul Perone, Glen Anthony Perone Jr. and Mark Eastep; grandchildren, Kevin Perone, Anthony Perone and Kayla Perone; sisters, Sandy Ward and Doris Thomas; little brother, Dan Terrebonne; nieces, Tammy Perry and Barbara Bernhardt; a dear friend, Ruth Koester also survives.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, Nov. 20, at 1 p.m. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Willard officiating. Mr. Perone will be buried in the Georgia National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 5 to 7 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home.
