Helen Strine, 84, born Aug. 8, 1926, went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Nov. 22, 2010. Her relatives and loved ones are too numerous to list, as she embraced everyone she knew as family. She was known for her artistic talents and especially for her generosity and love for others.

A beautiful service was held for her in Carlisle, Pa., on Nov. 29, 2010.

Her family would like to express their deepest appreciation to her friends, neighbors, health care providers and all those who touched her life with their prayers and support during this time.

In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that all who knew her pay their respects forward by offering God's service where and when the opportunity arises and by loving one another.
