According to Bartow County Sheriff Clark Millsap and Cartersville Police Chief Tommy Culpepper, on Thursday agents and the Bartow County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team executed search warrants at 134 Bishop Road and 345 Bishop Road in Cartersville.
Bartow-Cartersville Drug Task Force Deputy Commander Lt. J.L. Cheek said agents arranged and purchased marijuana from two of the men.
During the execution of the search warrants agents seized pounds of marijuana, assault rifles, scales, and U.S. currency. Culpepper and Millsap said agents are still following information gathered during this investigation and expect more arrests in the near future.
Arrested were Cedric Lamar Jett, 34, of 134 Bishop Road, Cartersville; Kevius Lamar Porter, 25 of 10 Bangor St., Cartersville; Gary Terrell Davis, 24, of Old Mill Road, Apt. 809, Cartersville; and Jermaine Melvin Armstrong, 30, of 345 Bishop Road, Cartersville. They are all being held at the Bartow County Jail.
