Mrs. Cox was born Nov. 14, 1932, in Bartow County, the daughter of the late, Lewis Benjiman Greenway and Ruth Grace Bramblett Greenway. She was retired from Southern Bell, was a member of the Pioneer's and CWA and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Potsy Siniard; and a brother, Clyde Greenway.
Surviving is her husband, Roy L. Cox; sisters and brothers, Frank Greenway, Evelyn Cooper, Fred Greenway, Juanita Nation, Carl Greenway, Larry Greenway, Marion Greenway, Phyllis Collins, Pam Godfrey; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 10, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Brother David Lee officiating.
Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Harold Siniard, Stacey Siniard, Matthew Siniard, Salem Shunnarah, Sean Story, Todd Ditmer and Brett Miller.
Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Greenway, Jason Greenway, Bill Miller, Willard Summey, Ovell Nation, Guy Greenway, Gary Greenway and Victor Cox.
