Born Oct. 14, 1927, in Sand Mountain, Ala., she was the daughter of the late George Namon Wilson and the late Mary Alverine Tillery Wilson. She was also preceded in death by two sisters.
Stella had been a homemaker her entire life, and she was of the Baptist faith. She loved sewing and embroidery, watching soaps and reading. One of her favorite things to read was her Bible which she read faithfully every day. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Bagley; her sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest and Minnie Fann of Cartersville, Johnny and Vicky Bagley of Adairsville, Ricky and Revonda Bagley of Cartersville, and Ronald and Dianne Bagley of Cassville; her daughters and sons-in-law, Hattie and Robert Murphy of Cartersville and Mary Ann and Harry Russell of Perryopolis, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; her sister, Eunice Burns of White; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Ralph Shook officiating. Burial will follow in the Cassville Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Bagley, Richard Bagley, Douglas Trammell, Timmy Bagley, Mitchell Bagley and Chris Kaufman. These gentlemen are requested to meet at the funeral home by 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville.
