Jan. 5

* James Michael Blumenfield, 32, of 1400 Joe Frank Harris Parkway, Cartersville, was arrested by a probation officer and charged with probation violation.

* Joseph Burton Bryan, 33, 1137 Highway 293 S.E., Cartersville, was arrested and charged with battery.

* Justin Dewayne Chapman, 20, of 12 Winfield Drive, Cartersville, returned on charges from October.

* Marcus James Hobgood, 41, of 306 Mountain Chase Drive, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with theft by shoplifting.

* Obed Corenjo Leon, 21, of 12-B Pinewood Road, Cartersville, reported to the jail to serve a probate court sentence.

* Brittany Lashae Lovingood, 24, of 5-B Briarwood Lane, Cartersville, was arrested on superior court sentence charges from September 2009.

* Cody Wayne Sowder, 20, of 25 Tower Ridge Road, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with probation violation.

* Joan Elaine Warren, 42, of 2411 Bethel Road N.E., Conyers, was arrested by Emerson police on an agency assist for Rockdale County Sheriff's Office.

* Nathaniel Teems Wilkie, 22, of 278 Mac Johnson Road, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with burglary.

* Karla Martinez Avalos, 23, of 36 Bradford Drive, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with expired vehicle tag and driving without a license.

* Melissa Dawn Grenvicz, 30, of 331 Lake Forrest Drive, Acworth, was arrested on a Superior Court sentence.

* Megan Brianna Pembleton, 19, of 411 Good Year St., Rockmart, was arrested by Cartersville police and boarded at the jail.

* Juanita Moreno Sanchez, 30, of 20 Rock Fence Circle, Cartersville, turned himself in to serve a probate court sentence.
