Miss Gordon was born Feb. 25, 1948, in Dayton, Tenn. She was the daughter of the late Lillie and Harrison Ferguson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Ferguson.
Survivors include her son, James Dewayne Gordon, daughter in law, Sylvia Gordon, grandchildren, Bradley and Samuel Gordon, sister, Jeannette Cook and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:30 -- 3:30 p.m. prior to the service.
