She said while in church, a woman seated behind her slapped her in the right side of the face, causing damage to her glasses. The woman said the offender was mumbling, and when she asked her who she was talking to, the offender told the victim she was talking to her right before she slapped her.
The complainant admitted to having ongoing issues with the offender and the church didn't want law enforcement called so the offender was escorted out of the church. The complainant said the offender's mother, along with the entire church, witnessed the entire incident.
The deputy said no charges were filed at the moment because the complainant could not provide enough information to locate the offender or speak to any other witnesses at this time. He said he did observe the damaged eyewear.
Aggressive dog quarantined
A BCSO deputy responded to a call at America's Best Motel in reference to a dog problem Monday night. Upon arrival he met with the complainant who said the woman staying in the room next to him had an aggressive pit bull.
He stated the dog had been out several times without a leash almost attacking several people. The complainant showed the officer pictures on his cell phone of the dog running around the parking lot alone. The deputy went to make contact with the dog owner, when the female opened the door the dog got out and came toward the deputy "in a vicious manner," the report said.
