Beverly H. Edwards, 61, of 105 East 11th St., Apt. 4, Rome, passed Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at Floyd Medical Center after a short illness. Mrs. Edwards was born in Cartersville, on Jan. 4, 1950, to the late Monroe Henderson and the late Ora Lee Henderson-Rogers.

Survivors include: her companion Lucious Ward, three daughters Katrina Edwards, Yolanda Batie and Omega Williamson and one son Antwon Edwards, all of Rome; six brothers: Larry, Lamar, Ed Willie, Monroe, Vincent and the late James, all Henderson's, and two sisters, Connie Johnson and the late Shirley Brown. Thirteen grandchildren and three great-grand children.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, Feb. 15, from 6 until 7 p.m., at F.K. Jones Funeral Home in Historic Peek Chapel. The service will be Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 1 p.m, at Lovejoy Baptist Church. Rev. Carey N. Ingram, Pastor and Rev. Timothy Williamson will officiate. Interment will follow at Eastview Cemetery. F. K. Jones Funeral Home (706-802-0265) has charge of the arrangements.
