She is survived by her husband, Orville Hires, her daughter, Allison (Larry) Chinski, her son, Thomas (Barbara) Hires, her daughter, Patricia (Thomas) Pavlik and her daughter, Kathleen Erickson. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward Sheehan, Robert Sheehan, and William Sheehan, and sisters, Irene Ruiter and Anna Mae Landeck.
Following cremation, a memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 1, at the First Christian Church in Adairsville. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.westgeorgiacrematory.com. West Georgia Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
