Mrs. Ghorley was born April 9, 1925 in Bartow County, a daughter of the late O.W. and Minnie Smith. She was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Nantucket Mills.
Survivors include her children, Jerry, Robert and Wayne Ghorley, all of Cartersville and Shirley Evans, of Cartersville, a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren, two brothers, Albert and John L. Smith, of Cartersville, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, from the Oak Hill cemetery with Rev. Keith Milner officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, is in charge of the arrangements.
