Feb. 12

* Melissa Lee Bedford, 35, of 71 Lakeview Drive, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with theft by taking, motor vehicle.

* Matthew Gardner Jr., 61, of 15 Pine Vista Circle, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with simple battery in violation of the Family Violence Act.

* Christopher Justin Harris, 21, of 204 A. Camp Sunrise Road, Cartersville, was arrested by Cartersville police and boarded at the jail.

* Brandon Lamar Hulsey, 28, of 278 Mac Johnson Road, Cartersville, was arrested by the Georgia State Patrol and charged with reckless driving, speeding, driving on wrong side of the road, fleeing or attempting to elude police officer, giving false information and driving while license suspended.

* Johnny Wayne Ingram, 44, of 872 Wood Fall Road, Cedartown, was arrested and charged with driving while license withdrawn.

* Devin Dekwan Reynolds, 21, of 21 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Cartersville, turned himself in to the jail and was boarded for Cartersville police.

* Anthony Lee Scorpio, 25, of 18 Taylor Drive, Cartersville, was arrested by Cartersville police and boarded at the jail.

* Andrae Christopher Smith, 35, of 390 Old Mill Road, Cartersville, was arrested by Cartersville police and charged with battery in violation of the F.V.A., two counts of cruelty to children and two counts of false imprisonment.

* Nathan Issacc Starkey, 17, of 32 Whistle Stop, Cartersville, was arrested by Cartersville police and boarded at the jail.

* Harvey Scott Swindle, 17, of 113 Two Run Crossing, Cartersville, was arrested by Cartersville police and boarded at the jail.

Feb. 13

* David Wayne Arthur, 38, of 70 Akin Road, Cartersville, was arrested by Adairsville police and boarded at the jail.

* Troy Dwight Jackson, 41, of 134 Leake St., Cartersville, was arrested by Cartersville police and charged with battery.

* Nathan Rena Ruff, 20, of 25 Eagle Glen Drive, Cartersville, was arrested by Cartersville police and boarded at the jail.

* Juan Sanchez, 33, of 3604 N. Luna Ave., Chicago, Ill., was arrested by Cartersville police and boarded at the jail.
