Man with outstanding warrant turns himself in

A Bartow County deputy responded to 339 Holly Springs Road on Monday night in reference to a possible wanted person.

Andrew Hopkins called 911 and informed them he had a warrant for his arrest and would be waiting for the deputy on his front porch. Upon arrival the deputy confirmed through the eagle system that a warrant for felony theft by taking was in Hopkin's name. He was transported to the Bartow County jail without incident.

AT&T tower damaged

A representative with AT&T said copper wiring stripped from an Adairsville tower will cost an estimated $1,400. The Adairsville Police Department received a call on Feb. 24 reporting the damages. They ask that anyone with information call APD at 770-773-7778.

Police searching

for stolen car

Adairsville police are seeking a stolen red 2008 Nissan Titan. They received a call on Friday about the missing vehicle, which is valued at $54,000. Anyone with information is asked to call the office at 770-773-7778.
