The Adairsville Lady Tigers scored a pair of goals in each the first and second halves Tuesday, which included a hat trick by one player, to win 4-0 in a home match versus Chattooga.

Sophomore Cassidy Green factored into each of Adairsville's goals, setting the table on one goal and recording her first career hat trick with the other three.

Green fed Nisa Ayers for a Lady Tiger goal in the 12th minute to give Adairsville an early lead.

Twenty minutes later, Green intercepted a pass past midfield and took it all the way in to score on a 60-yard breakaway in the 32nd minute.

In the second half, Cherish Lowery had a 40-yard breakaway, slipping the ball to Green around the 12-yard mark. Green put the ball in the back of the net for a 3-0 Adairsville advantage.

"That was truly an assist," Lady Tigers assistant coach Lance Hall said. "Cherish set that goal up all the way."

Green capped the scoring for the night in the 55th minute as she tabbed her third goal of the match.

Catlin Berkencamp and Victoria Bennett combined for the shutout.

Adairsville (2-2) heads to Woodstock Thursday for its first Region 7-AA contest, a 5 p.m. match with River Ridge.
