Bartow Winds to present concert at Reinhardt Univ.

The Bartow Winds, the community band of Bartow County, will present a concert Saturday, March 19, 7:30 p.m., entitled "There's No Business Like Show Business," at the Falany Performing Arts Center at Reinhardt University in Waleska.

The band, under the direction of Michael Elzey, graduate of the Reinhardt University music program, contributes all proceeds from its performances to local area charities.

According to a Reinhardt Univesity press release, Reinhardt University is proud to have one of its own conducting the Bartow Winds in an event that will be not only highly entertaining, but will also serve a worthy cause. The band will perform selections from Rodgers & Hammerstein's The Sound of Music, from Jurassic Park, Pirates of the Caribbean, Gone With the Wind, Westside Story, Titanic, Phantom of the Opera and more.

All seats are reserved and admission to the concert is $20 for adults and $16 for seniors (55 and older) and children (12 and under). Additional service charges may apply.
