After an official review of the 2010 audit, the Euharlee City Council is facing a set of decisions regarding personnel and insurance changes.

The council heard two proposals from different benefits agencies that handle personnel and insurance matters. No vote was made at Tuesday's meeting, but the council agreed to hold a special called meeting at 6:30 p.m. on July 19, just before the work session, to vote on which agency to represent city employees on insurance claims. Insurance policies must be renewed by Aug. 1.

Proposals for construction companies to build the retaining wall at the Covered Bridge Store were submitted and the council chose to allow the low bid from Full Circle Concrete to take on the approximately $5,000 task. The project will include a new retaining wall, landscaping in the area, sidewalk and a parking lot.
