Just before 5 a.m. Sunday the RaceTrac on Baker Road was robbed at gunpoint.
Both employees in the store at the time described a black male in all black clothing who entered the store and walked toward the back of the building to the restroom and then into the stock room where the manager was cutting boxes.
The suspect fled in a vehicle before police arrived on scene, taking all of the money in the registers and leaving the victims physically unharmed.
According to the victims, the gun was small and looked like a 9mm. The on-call investigator arrived on scene shortly after county deputies, who then turned the investigation over to him.

women's purse and vehicle
Saturday night a woman reported someone stole approximately 200 pills and $161 from her purse as well as a friend's, which was also in the woman's unlocked vehicle. Pills included Vyvanse, Alaprazolam, Concerta, Clonidine, Methylphenidale, Percocet, Mirtazapine and Soma.
The victim stated that this is not the first incident of the same nature. No suspects are known at this time.
