South Public Square parking lot closed from Main Street to Cherokee Avenue from 4 to 10 p.m.
Parking spaces in front of the depot closed all day Saturday for vendor setup
City Hall Parking lot (fountain lot) will be closed all day Saturday.
North Wall Street block (Grand Block) closes at 5 p.m.
Cherokee Avenue is closed from Gilmer to Erwin Street from 4:30 to 9 p.m.
This is the first car show in the summer series, which runs on the first Saturdays, April to August, and closings will be the same for all first Saturdays. The public is invited to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening at Friendship Plaza. Food available on site from Chef Frankie B or enjoy dining at downtown restaurants. DJ Russell Andrews will be spinning tunes during the car show.
Volunteers are welcome to help between 2 and 10 p.m. on Saturday, just come to Friendship Plaza and ask for Sandy or Liz any first Saturday, April through August!
The Downtown Summer Concert Series returns First Saturdays from May to August from 7 to 9 p.m. The concerts and car shows will be combined from May to August. All block closings above are the same with the exception of South Public Square will close at noon on Saturdays for band and vendor setup. Cones will be placed on the depot (east) side of the parking lot with those spaces closed all day, with parking remaining open until noon for the business (west) side of the block.

On Saturday, April 30, "A Taste of Cartersville and ART on the Square," an all-day spring festival of food, fashion, art, music and fun on the square, will feature sample tasty bites from local restaurants and caterers, and purchase art for sale by local artists. Entertainment will be on stage in Friendship Plaza throughout the day. Parking in South Public Square and the fountain block will be closed all day. Cherokee Avenue will be closed all day from Erwin Street to the railroad tracks for safety.
