On Nov. 1, 1958, she married Earl Lamar Haney in Cartersville and the union was blessed with a son and daughter. Frieda loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed church activities, singing, gardening, Scrabble, reading, refurbishing antiques and decorating. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Earl; her son Johnny Haney, Rome; her daughters Selina (Sis) Haney, Cartersville; Michelle (Greg) Lucas Haney, Houston, Texas; grandchildren: Ricky Ekstrom, Cartersville; Crystal Ekstrom, Atlanta; Michael Haney, Rome; Jennifer Haney, Cartersville; Matthew Haney, Cartersville; great-grandchildren: Brook Ekstrom, Cartersville; Catie Wright, Cartersville; MaKala Wright, Cartersville; brothers: Gene (Liz) Fowler, Rome; Lamar (Sue) Fowler, Rome; Jimmy (Carol) Fowler, Rome; Dennis (Kathy) Fowler, Rome; sister: Brenda (Kenneth) Wynn, Waco; as well as several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Barbara Holmes and brother Charles Fowler.
The Memoriam service for Frieda will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Canton Road Church of God.
