William Frank Grizzle, 81, of Acworth passed away Friday, April 15, 2011, at his residence.

Funeral Services will be Sunday, April 17, at 4 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church in Acworth with Rev. Dan Willis, Rev. Rex Cox and Rev. Ronnie Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Frank was born March 15, 1930, in Bartow County, and he was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. After serving his country in the U.S. Army, Frank worked in the textile industry for a few years, then in pipeline construction management across the southeast. He owned and operated Frank Grizzle Septic Tank Service in Acworth for more than 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Grady Grizzle and Erma Grizzle Brown; his brother, Billy Grizzle; his daughter, Brenda Sue Grizzle; his step-daughter, Marie Sanders; and his granddaughter, Melissa Dobbins. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda Johnston Grizzle; his daughters and son- in-law, Mary and Jerry Ledford of Acworth, Teresa Hawkins of Calhoun and Sharon Underwood of West Point; his sons and daughters-in-law, Rex and Donna Grizzle of Lanett, Ala., and Frank and Linda Grizzle of Acworth; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; his step-father, Cecil Brown; his sister and brother-in law, Allene and Donald Willis; his brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Betty Grizzle; his sister-in-law, Shirley Grizzle; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Luke and Mary Johnston; many nieces and nephews.
