The Dragons opened the game with three big runs in the top of the first and then were relegated to goose eggs for the rest of the night. The Tigers trailed for several innings before answering with three runs.
Adairsville did more than answer in the sixth frame, as the Tigers sent five runs thundering across home plate to put the game out of reach.
Jamey Barnes earned the victory with a complete game effort in which he allowed two earned runs and fanned four.
Leading the Tigers offensively were Michael Gwin, a double; Cody Kremer, two hits; Barnes, three hits, including a double, with two RBIs; Logan Tant, an RBI; Caleb McCreary, a double; Ta-Li Martin, a double and one RBI.
Adairsville improved to 19-2 overall, 11-0 in Region 7A-AA.
The Tigers visit Model on Friday. Game time is at 5 p.m.
