Mr. Johnny W. Tidwell was born in Bartow County on April 20, 1963, a son of Margaret Ann Craig Tidwell and the late Grady W. Tidwell. Mr. Tidwell was a member of the Crowe Springs Baptist Church. He loved being outdoors; which led him to become an avid coon hunter.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Choate Tidwell; one step-son, Eric Randall Dawson; one grandson, Blaine Ray Dawson of Strafford, Mo.; one brother, Michael Lee Tidwell Sr.; two sisters, Kathy Ann Tidwell and Susan Renee Bagley of Cartersville; mother-in-law, Joena Choate, Springfield, Mo.; three nephews; Joshua Blake Tidwell, Jerry Wayne Bagley Jr., and Michael Lee Tidwell Jr.; great-niece, Kelci Morgan Tidwell, and great-nephew, Ayden Lewis Garmon; six uncles; seven aunts; and several cousins also survive Mr. Johnny W. Tidwell.
Memorial Services for Mr. Johnny W. Tidwell will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 25, at the Crowe Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Cowart officiating.
Parnick Jennings Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave., Rome, with Natalie Cochran assisting, is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Johnny W. Tidwell.
