A longtime resident of the Acworth-Emerson area, Mrs. Earwood was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert G. "Bobby" Earwood and brother, Truman Eugene Howard and is survived by her husband, Gerald Earwood of Emerson; mother, Frances Howard of Emerson; daughters, Shelly (Michael) Bennett and Tracy (Donovan) Shook, both of Cartersville; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers and are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday: Joseph Earwood, Christopher Earwood, Adam Bennett, Nathan Earwood, Seth Bennett, and Avery Shook.
