The Thursday afternoon accident that left two injured has resulted in one arrest. While attempting to conduct a traffic stop after the suspect ran a red light, a Bartow County deputy pursued the fleeing vehicle that later crashed in a ditch on Bishop Road. The driver, identified as Bradley Scott Stiner, was taken by life flight to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for head injuries. The passenger, Willie Walter Tidwell, was transported to Cartersville Medical Center. Alcohol is the suspected cause of the men’s behavior and several open containers were observed inside the vehicle.
