Dodgers, Phillies advance in Little League tourney

The Dodgers defeated the Crackers, 11-5, in Little League baseball action Wednesday.

Also, the Phillies defeated the Tigers, 12-8. Today, the Dodgers play the Phillies in the losers’ bracket, with only the winner advancing.

Meanwhile, the Indians and Padres meet in the winners’ bracket, with the losing team moving to the losers’ bracket and the winner remaining in the winners’ bracket.

Both games are at 6 p.m. at the Little League fields.

The Little League teams will take a break after today's games and resume play after Memorial Day.
