Two recent Cass High graduates have been named to the roster to play in the annual Tennessee-Georgia All-Star Classic football game.

Albert Catron (5) and Christian Fairbanks (50) will be playing in the game in June.

The 6-foot-1-inch Catron played defensive end and linebacker for the Colonels. He weighs 215 pounds, bench presses 350 pounds, squats 475 pounds and runs the 40 in 4.48.

The 6-foot tall Fairbanks, who played center and linebacker for Cass, weighs 180, bench presses 225 pounds, squats 475 pounds and runs the 40 in 4.6. He has signed a scholarship to play for Shorter College, a four-year school in Rome.

The football game, which kicks off a series of annual clashes between recent Southeast Tennessee high school graduates and their counterparts from Northwest Georgia, is played Saturday, June 11.

The game is the eighth annual Tennessee-Georgia All-Star Football Classic at the Baylor School in Chattanooga.

Team Tennessee will be looking for its fourth consecutive victory in the series after claiming a 17-0 win at Baylor last June.

The Georgia team is being coached by Bradley Warren, head football coach with Dade County.
