Two chases kept officers with the Georgia State Patrol and Bartow County Sheriff’s Office busy Monday afternoon.

Officers were searching for a man who led a GSP trooper on a chase in the area of Highway 293 and Hall Station Road. Before fleeing on foot, the man abandoned the motorcycle. A female passenger was arrested at the scene.

Soon after another GSP trooper was in pursuit of a white male driving a “crotch rocket” at speeds in excess of 100 mph. Dispatch placed a be-on-the-lookout for the man who was described as wearing a white shirt and driving a blue and white motorcycle.
