The Covered Bridge 'Que, a professional barbecue competition sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society, is a free event that plans to host upward of 36 professional barbecue teams from across the Southeast.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. visitors can enjoy live entertainment -- including the Tom and Chad Show -- vendors, games, prizes and barbecue at Frankie Harris Park in historic downtown Euharlee.
Proclaimed by Gov. Nathan Deal as a state championship, the winner at this event will also be a qualifier for the Georgia Barbecue Championship and the Jack Daniels World Championship Invitational.
