A memorial service will be Saturday, June 11, at 11 a.m. at the Alexander Chapel Church, Cartersville. The family will receive friends Friday, June 10, from 7 to 8 at the funeral Home.
Maggie was born July 29, 1951, in Bartow County to the late Robert and Reba Branch Henderson. She joined St. Luke AME Chruch at an early age and later moved her membership to Alexander Methodist Church.
She was a graduate of the class of 1969, Cartersville High School. She was active in her community and served on many organization, including the Heroines of Jericho, Lois Chapter 10 and others at an early age.
Maggie was employed by the Cartersville Country Club for many years. Prior to her death she was employed by Walmart as a greeter.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Reba Knox ( Erik); one grandson, Triviuse D. Brown; siblings, Virginia H. Harris (Ralph), Robert E. Henderson Jr. (Gayla), Roxanne H. Coxton, Stephen L. Henderson, and Tilla L. Henderson; a special friend Robert Wesley Fortner; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
