Frank Buscemi, marketing and communications director, said this will be an expansion of the current facility located next door.
"We're looking at the possibility of about 10 to 12 new [full-time] positions," Buscemi said. "The reason for the lease of the building is we're moving some production from Mexico to Georgia."
Buscemi said a timeline for new hires and opening the facility has not yet been determined.
During the Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce's Manufacturers Appreciation Week Awards Breakfast in late April, the Large Employer Expanding Industry award was given to TI Automotive, which has been in Bartow since 1985 and has added more than 70 jobs in recent years.
