Mr. Cannon was born April 4, 1928 in Charlotte, N.C., a son of the late Frank G. Cannon Sr. and Clarice Williams Cannon.
He was of the Baptist Faith, an Army/Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and a retired business owner having moved from the Atlanta area to Cartersville in 1994. He loved his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Corene Moore Cannon, his children, Raymond Wesley Cannon, of Thailand, Margrace Willis, of Cartersville, Kathy Cannon, of Acworth, Pete Cannon, of Acworth and Mary Eubanks and husband Michael, of Woodstock, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two brothers and sister-in-laws, John and Paula Cannon, of Biloxi, Miss., and Richard and Karen Cannon, of Clover, S.C.
Mr. Cannon will be cremated and memorial services will be held and announced at a later date.
